How to get to tef

TEF 2007 will be held at the MIT Stratton Student Center (Building W20, 84 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA).

The Student Center is located just across the street from the MIT main entrance at 77 Massachusetts Avenue.

By Public Transportation - MBTA ("The T")

Subway - Take the Red Line subway to the Kendall/MIT Station. Walking west from the subway station on Main Street. Turn left when you hit Vassar Street. Walk to the next traffic light (Massachusetts Avenue). Turn left, walk to the next crosswalk, and the MIT Stratton Student Center will be on your right.

Bus - The #1 or Dudley/Harvard Station bus stops at MIT on Massachusetts Avenue, in front of the MIT Student Center.

By Car

From the West (I-90) (Mass Turnpike) Follow I-90 east to the Cambridge/Brighton exit (exit 18). Following the signs to Cambridge, cross the River Street Bridge, and continue straight about 1 mile to Central Square. Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue and follow Massachusetts Avenue for about a half mile. The main entrance to MIT will be on your left, and the Student Center will be on your right. If you cross the river again, you have gone too far.

From I-93, take exit 26, and follow the signs to Back Bay along Storrow Drive West, approximately 1.5 miles, to the exit for Route 2A. The exit will be on the left, just before the Harvard Bridge (more appropriately called the Massachusetts Avenue Bridge). The Charles River will be on your right. As you cross the bridge, you will be looking at MIT - the Great Dome and academic facilities are on the right, the dormitories and athletic facilities are on the left.


Public Parking is located in the University Park Parking Garage. From the main entrance of MIT located at 77 Massachusetts Avenue, drive away from the Harvard Bridge. Turn left at Landsdowne Street next to the gas station. Take the first right on Landsdowne Street, and the entrance to the parking garage will be on your left.
